Sight Word Punch Cards
Includes 144 high frequency words and a blank template to fill in your own!
I use these cards to keep track of what words my students know. When they can read a word, they get a hole punch in their card! I use different shaped hole punches to keep track of what month they mastered the sight word.

Includes 5 activities that work with the spelling words you choose.
Rainbow Writing - Roll a dice and write a spelling word using the matching colour.
Stamp N’ Spell - Stamp your words using letter stamps.
Clay Letters/Clay Words - Trace the letters using clay, or use clay to spell out words. I suggest laminating these pages for re-use.

Trading Card Templates
These cards are designed for kids to draw their own pictures and add their own facts. Let your imagination run wild with what you could do with them. Some ideas are:

Simply choose the pages you want in your students’ books, photocopy them, and start writing!

Daily 5 Posters - I put these up above the materials needed for each task
I charts - I is for Independence. These are the skills students need to complete each of the Daily 5 tasks independently, freeing you up to work one on one! There are blank templates included so you can fill them out with your students!
Check in charts - Keep track of what choices your students are making, and how often you are conferring with them.
Conferring pages - Take notes and keep track of what you are doing with your students and what steps they need to take next!

Superhero Sight Words
These practice pages are designed to fit your spelling program.
Simply copy the pages your students want to do, and turn them into a booklet, or give them out a day at a time. Students will become familiar with how they work, but they never get old because there are new words every week! You’ll be the superhero teacher!
1.Have students create their very own “superhero” citizen by drawing and describing them.
2.Feature those super citizens in comics showing all of the amazing good deeds that they can do!

1. Cut out the flags you would like to use
2. Fold flags in half and place around the top end of the pencil

A great writing activity to go with a number of cute chameleon books. Ties in with grade one science colour unit.
Work on Writing
This pack includes many ideas to set your students up with writing! The pages can be used as part of writing centers, folders, stations, or whole group lessons. The templates are flexible and can be adapted to any writing lesson.
All activities come with both interlined and straight lines templates.
Bucket Filling ABC Class Book
How many ways can you think of to fill a bucket? Create a class alphabet book to read and look back on through the year!
Each page includes space for a bucket filling action, and picture, and the student's name. There is a blank page included at the end of the package if you don't want to use the whole alphabet. You can also let students choose their own letter to write about!
All About Me Crayons
After reading a book about crayons, have the students draw pictures of things that represent them inside the crayon template. They should also colour the crayon in their favourite colour.
To extend this activity, have the students label their pictures, or write a few sentences on the lines below.
Daily 5 Stamina Charts
Keep track of your student’s growing stamina each day with these visual charts. Includes Read to Self, Read to Someone, Listen to Reading, Word Work, Work on Writing, and a blank chart. There are two styles to choose from and stamina goes up to 20 minutes.

Language Arts/Year end writing
I used this template for students to write about why they are an important piece of our classroom. I read them the book "Pezzetino" by Leo Lionni and then we did the activity.
50 and 100 charts
Help your students to learn to count in fun and engaging ways. I use these charts to look for patterns and play games such as I-spy, bingo, musical numbers, greater than/less than, and more. I start with the completed charts, and then move to the charts with numbers missing. I have students complete the charts before we can play the game.
K-1 "I can" skills
Build confidence and keep track of the skills your students know and need to practice. This package includes engaging practice for counting, adding, subtracting, ten frames, skip counting and more.
Number of the Day
Build independence and number sense with a number each day. This package has numbers 1-50 with blank templates to choose your own numbers. Students work on skills such as place value, number formation, ten frames, a 100 chart, and more.
